The story about

Our Company

At first there was a vision – Juergen Raberg wanted to create a leather fashion label within the northern part of Germany in 1972. Based on this idea the company Mauritius was founded later on. Through the course of the years his company grew to be a successful fashion- and leather specialist with worldwide distribution.

The Mauritius Group offers three different fashion lines with their brands
- Gipsy by Mauritius, 2.0 by Mauritius and Deercraft -
These fashion lines are supported by different textile and licensing products.

We care about

BSCI Social Standards

At the Mauritius Group we care about our social responsibility and have implemented it into our company philosophy. Two very important aspects are decent working conditions and compliance of social standards within our suppliers. We have a zero- tolerance policy regarding exploitation, forced labour and child labour. The Mauritius Group is actively involved in social compliance and is also a member of the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI). We made the promise to implement the BSCI code of conduct in our company. BSCI unites companies with one aim – to improve and implement social standards, working security and fire protection with a global controlling system. Hence, we only work together with suppliers, who have been audited and certified within the standards of BSCI as well.
